Experience:
Over 35 years of clinical practice with individuals, couples, and families as a therapist and twenty years as a nurse prescriber. At this time I am working exclusively with those patients who require medication. I have taught at both Marquette and UW-M and believe strongly in the value of education in Psychiatry. A major area of expertise is the adjustment to chronic illness, especially cancer. I started a program for counseling in this area at an academic medical center. I also serve on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations whose missions are to provide mental health services to specific populations.

Practice areas include:
Adjustment to Chronic Illness
Anger Management
Anxiety & Depression
Adjustment & Mood Disorders
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Psycho Oncology
